With the rapid development of information technology and the continuous improvement of modern medical information,information literacy has become one of the basic skills of rural doctors.At the same time,academic research on information literacy has entered the stage of practical innovation from the stage of theoretical exploration,and articles on the evaluation criteria of information literacy have emerged in an endless stream.However,the evaluation of information literacy of rural doctors is relatively rare and is still at an exploratory stage.To better understand the information literacy education of rural doctors,it is necessary to construct an information literacy assessment standard that meets their characteristics.This paper is based on the existing domestic and foreign research results of information literacy evaluation standards.The rural doctors are used as research objects to construct the first draft of the Evaluation Index System for Rural Doctors' Information Literacy.The Delphi method was used to optimize and form the final draft.Determine the index weights.Based on the index system,a questionnaire on the status of rural doctors' information literacy was compiled.Taking rural doctors in Jilin Province as an example,an empirical investigation was conducted on the information literacy of rural doctors.The main research results of this study are:(1)Constructing the Evaluation Index System for Rural Physicians' Information Literacy,which consists of four first-level indicators,17 second-level indicators and 52 third-level indicators,and uses the analytic hierarchy process.The indicator weights at all levels have been determined so that the evaluation indicators are more operational.(2)Design questionnaires to investigate the status of rural doctors' information literacy in Jilin Province and collect data.Through descriptive statistical analysis of collected data,it was found that the overall level of information literacy of rural doctors is general,in which information ethics is at a medium level,information knowledge and information ability are low,and information awareness is of a good level;through the analysis of differences,it is found that in the dimension of rural doctors' information literacy indicators,there are significant differences in the degree of education in information awareness and information ethics.In addition,there are significant differences in the age of information awareness in the dimensions of information.In the secondary dimension of rural doctors' information literacy,there are significant differences in gender and information source knowledge and information retrieval knowledge.There are differences in the degree of education in the importance of information and information literacy awareness and information application awareness,There are differences in the two dimensions of information needs awareness and understanding and compliance of information ethics and ethics in age.There are also significant differences in the three levels of information requirements,information exchange awareness,and information source knowledge.(3)Using information poverty theory and acquaintance social theory to explain the formation reasons of rural doctors' information literacy status.
