Cases Report Of Complete Dentures

Objective: To compare the different restoration methods of complete denture, and evaluate the clinic effects.Methods: 2 edentulous patients were included from June 2015 to March 2016 at Fujian Stomatological Hospital.Accroding to different residual ridge condition,two different impressin techniques(opened/closed-mouth) were used and selected two different type occlusion(long-centric/linqual).Detures' fabrication depends on patients individual situation,comfort,retention,custom and another consideration.All patients were followed up 3 months.Results:Opened/closed-mouth impression techniques and different occlusion were applied to all edentulous patients.BPS dentrue provided favourable retention and stable in bad situation residual ridge.Patients have high satification and good clinical effects.Conclusion: Cloed-mouth impression technique is simple and convenient technique which does not add extra economy burden an easy received to patients. Long-centric occlusion and linqual occlusion can get high stability in different ridge situation.Mandibular suction-effective denture can obtain good border seal and high retention. In clinical practice, treatment should be carried out in different ways depending on different edentulous situation.
