This paper focused on non-fiction bestsellers of the US to study its introduction in China during 2006-2015.This paper made a deep profiling from qualitative to quantitative on the introduction of non-fiction bestsellers in the US during the past ten years. The analysis contains four parts:performance after introduction, publishers, authors, themes and successful or failed cases.Data on the US bestsellers in this paper are all referred from The New York Times Best Seller List"(from January 1st,2016 to December 31st,2015) and selected the top ten from the list. Followed the principle of 10 points for No.1,1 point to No.10 and so forth, while considered the listed times to generate the various analyzed data of each listed book.1008 books were listed during the past ten years. An objective, fair and comprehensive digital analysis on the introduction of bestsellers in the decade has been done on the basis of the following works:generation of the top ten list of non-fiction books based on total points from total scores, toped times and published time, collection of retailing data in opened Chinese book market, analysis according to variation of years, a summary made on details of listed books. To make an analysis on the publishers of the non-fiction bestsellers, this paper conducted a research on the quality and quantity of books introduced by state-operated and private-operated publishers. Result indicated that the state-operated publishers performed better. China Citic Press possessed a considerable advantage. The principal basis of analysis on the writers contains amount of listed books, scores and open sales data. Made a summary for writers and introducing status of the books through analysis of the writers’ different performance in Chinese and American book market. To conduct an analysis on themes of the books, a comparison between top 100 books in total scoring and introduced bestsellers has been made. Result is shown that psychological, motivational, business & economic and biographical books are most attractive to Chinese readers. Analysis on successful and failed cases has been done to explore factors which contribute to the successful introduction of non-fiction bestsellers and to get reference significance.
