Face Beautification has important value in image processing applications. But now a complex picture beautification algorithm running on the device always require expensive hardware. This article follow up the development of cloud computing, construct algorithm cloud service platform based on cloud computing platform, allows users to exchange algorithm for computing resources with network traffic.This paper studies the solutions of face beautification platform as a service(referred FBPaa S) based on various basic services provided by Windows Azure cloud platform. The goal of FBPaa S is that providing the computing resources of algorithm to user. Its purpose is to address the following issues through a cloud platform approach: a) The expensive cost of algorithm computing on the low-profile terminal such as embedded, mobile terminals. b) Face beautification algorithm requires a lot of data that is difficult to achieve on a single device. c) The differences of implementation of the algorithm on different system platform. d) Promotion of algorithm needs complex protocols and difficult to guarantee algorithm’s confidentiality.This paper constructed a face beautification algorithm cloud services platform on Windows Azure cloud computing platform. Windows Azure’s dispatch center can enable resources to achieve flexibility scalable, load balancing, and platform deployment and scheduling. The main contents of this paper project: a) user can call algorithm computing service platform based on REST mode. b) Algorithm module and business logic modules using network communication to achieve coupling. c) Cloud storage of image data can provide consistency of data services for algorithm computing nodes. d) Build face beautification web site based on the FBPaa S.
