With the development of system performance and network bandwidth, themanagement of personal data (call PC data for short) has become more individually. Itis necessary to build a synchronous backup so as to guarantee their safety andcompleteness. To meet these above requirements,the author raised the model ofsynchronous backup based on Microsoft Windows Azure cloud environment. Fromthe view of the local database and personal data, the author comprehensivelyintroduced some important characteristics of cloud computing of Microsoft andcommon methods of synchronous backup. Then she designed a system for PC datasynchronous backup which contains backup and recovery for local database andpersonal data on the base of SQL Azure. Finally, a unique web site developed on theAzure platform with this system can offer users a united accessory path.Firstly, the author analyzed the background and importance of PC datasynchronous backup, leading to major techniques of Windows Azure platform.Meanwhile, she compared and researched some common methods of PC datasynchronous backup. Secondly, the author raised a method of building datasynchronous backup system on Windows Azure platform, discussing the idea andstructure of local database of “Boiler Efficiency on Cloud Platform” item andpersonal data backup of “Favorites”. Thirdly, the author displayed the system by toolsof SQL Server and Visual Studio Express2012. Finally, the author drew theconclusion that this system boasts its advantages of mobility, operation and datamanagement, which compared with other non-cloud environment methods.
