Research On Appropriateness Of Shanxi Social Security Level

The social security system is a positive social policy which is implemented by the mostcountries in the world and it is to ensure a country or a region’s social stability and to promotethe country or region’s social and economic development. It has played an important role inour daily life. The level of social security is a key factor in the social security system, whichis an appropriate level or not will have significant impact on the economic and socialdevelopment.At present, many researches on the appropriateness of social security level can be seen,but the research on the social security level of Shaanxi province is less. In view of thissituation, this paper conducted an empirical study on the social security level of Shaanxiprovince and the status of moderation. This paper is divided into five parts:The first part is the introduction and the main content includes the background andsignificance of the study, domestic and international literature review, research ideas, researchmethods and research characteristics of the content.The second part is theoretical analysis related to the social security, including the relatedsocial security relevant concept definition and analysis of social security theory.The third part is the analysis of the present situation and problems of Shanxi provincesocial security, including the overall analysis of the social security level in Shaanxi Province,the specific analysis of the expenditure and social security problems.The fourth part is policy suggestion. The suggestion include: determining the reasonablemoderate level of social security according to the economic development in our province,expanding the financing channels of social security in our province actively, increasing theprovince financial support for social security gradually, strengthening the construction ofsupervisory mechanism to save the expenditure of social security in our province andestablishing of the province’s social security early warning system.The fifth part is the conclusion.This study found that the absolute number of the Shanxi Province of social securityexpenditure is on the rise, but the overall level of social security in our province is still at alow level, and there is a certain gap between the actual level of social security in ShanxiProvince with a moderate level of the lower limit. According to the social security level ofShanxi province’s actual situation, this paper determines a proper level of the social security,promoting continuous improvement and development of the social security system in ShanxiProvince.
