Objective:1.To investigate Investigation of registered nurse’s core competence, self directed learning competence and analyze the influence of general information on nurse’s core competence.2.To explore the relationship among core competence and self directed learning competence of nursing staff, and to provide reference for improving core competence of nurses.Methods:This study adopted convenient sampling method, choose Harbin tertiary comprehensive hospital with430nurses inclusion and exclusion criteria as the research object, using a questionnaire survey method, questionnaire includes3aspects:the general information questionnaire and Chinese registered nurse core competence scale (CIRN), self directed learning scale, investigation on core competence of nurses, all data were stored in Epidata3.0to build a database and using SPSS17.0statistical software for statistical analysis. The statistical analysis methods include: descriptive statistics、persons correlation analysis and multiple linear regression analysis, etc.Results:1The data shows, the existing core competence of nurses in general hospitals in Harbin City, three is the highest scores (by percentage conversion) practice law/ethics, secondly is the interpersonal relationship, leadership ability of clinical nursing, professional development, education/counseling and critical thinking/scientific research.2General information on the impact of the nurse’s core competencies of nurses:(1) Seniority:Nurses in1-10years gradually increase the core ability. Among them,16-20years of core competence of nurses had the highest scores,-5work1years the lowest score (P<0.05). More than10 years development tends to be stable, work for11-15years,16-20years, no statistically significant difference between the three groups (P>0.05).(2) Title:The core competencies of nurses scored according to the title from low to high rise gradually, nurse in charge and more group scored the highest, followed by the nurse, nurse group had the lowest score. There was significant difference between the groups (P<0.05)。(3) Educational background:No statistically significant difference between nurses on clinical nursing ability scores of the different levels of Education (P>0.05). In addition, the core competence of nurses in other respects with the degree of increase. Technical secondary school degree nurses had the lowest score. The nurse Diploma in professional development, ability score is better than that of secondary education in nurse education consulting (P<0.05). Bachelor degree nurse was the highest; interpersonal in leadership, relationship, legal/ethical practice scored higher than the big, technical secondary school nurse (P<0.05)(4) Departments:Nursing core competencies in the surgical group was the highest, lowest medical group, the difference was statistically significant (P<005.)(5) Independent study time:autonomous learning ability score increases with the time of core nurses learning times and showed a significant increasing trend. Among them,3-4times a week and l-2h/days and compared with the other groups was significant (P<0.05), can be seen from the score, nurse their autonomous learning time is more, the higher the frequency, the key ability score is higher, which shows the good learning can undoubtedly be better promote nurse their core ability score, improve the comprehensive literacy. (6) Business learning frequency:Service learning effect of frequency for nurses ability score, specifically nursing core ability score increases with the number of service learning frequency and showed a significant increasing trend. Among them,3-4times per week and1-2times a week or more and compared with the other groups was significant (P<0.05), can be seen from the score of nurses in Department of learning, the more time, the higher the frequency, the key ability score is higher, so the sound department learning frequency can undoubtedly be better promote nurses the key ability score, improving the comprehensive quality3Self directed learning scale total score was22.5<3.54, in a better level.4R=0.305was positively related to the core competence of registered nurses and self-directed learning.(P<0.05)5By the multiple liner stepwise regression analysis, nursing age, job title, education, service learning is a major factor affecting the frequency of core competence of nurses can explain75.6%of the overall variability.Conclusions:1The core competence of registered nurses in the middle level.2The core competence of registered nurses are different in different age, nursing age, title, position, education, marital status, preparation, learning education and professional interest. However, the main factors affecting the core competence of registered nurses were nursing age, job title, education and service learning3Nursing administrators can encourage nurses through a variety of ways to learn professional information, self-directed learning and training to improve the core competence of nurses level.
