Objective:To explore the influence of bedside comprehensive ability assessment model on bedside comprehensive ability, core ability and patient satisfaction with nursing service, and to provide reference for the implementation of bedside comprehensive ability assessment model.Methods:(1)A total of 144 nurses from ward 1 to Ward 24 in an inpatient department of a third-level hospital in Changsha,Hunan province from August2017 to September 2018 were selected and divided into the experimental group(72 cases)and the control group(72 cases)according to the random number table method.(2)The experimental group adopted bedside comprehensive ability assessment mode, while the control group adopted traditional assessment method. At 1 month before the intervention,3 months after the intervention,6months,9 months and 12 months after the intervention, the Chinese Registered nurse Core Competence Scale, nurses bedside comprehensive competence scoring standard and inpatient nursing satisfaction scale were used to investigate and collect data for the two groups.(3)SPSS19.0 was used for data entry and statistical analysis.Measurement data were described by mean±standard deviation.Enumeration data were described by number of cases and composition ratio.Baseline data of the two groups of intervention subjects were compared using t-test,and the survey data obtained every three months were analyzed by repeated measures of variance.Partial correlation statistical analysis was used to analyze the relationship between the scores of nurses' core competence, bedside comprehensive competence and patients' nursing satisfaction.P<0.05 was considered statistically significant in all tests.Results:(1)A total of 129 nurses completed the study, including 65 in the experimental group and 64 in the control group. Before intervention, there was no statistically significant difference in general information, core competence of nurses and bedside comprehensive competence between the two groups(P>0.05),indicating comparability.A total of 258 patients completed data collection in the study, including 130 nurses in the experimental group and 128 nurses in the controlgroup. The difference in nursing service satisfaction between the two groups before intervention was not statistically significant(P>0.05),indicating comparability.(2)Repeated measures ANOVA of the two groups showed that the core competence of nurses, bedside comprehensive competence and nursing satisfaction of inpatients in the two groups had statistical significance at 3 months,6 months,9months and 12 months after intervention(P<0.05).After 12 months of intervention, core competence of nurses, bedside comprehensive competence of nurses and nursing satisfaction of inpatients in the experimental group were better than those in the control group, and the improvement degree of each dimension in the experimental group was more obvious than that in the control group(P<0.05).(3)After controlling for a single variable, partial correlation analysis showed that there were statistically positive correlations between the core competence of nurses, bedside comprehensive competence and nursing satisfaction of inpatients in each dimension(P<0.05).Conclusion:(1)the implementation of bedside comprehensive ability assessment mode is beneficial to improve the core competence and bedside comprehensive ability of nurses.(2)Targeted training on nurses' core competence and bedside comprehensive competence is expected to improve inpatient nursing service satisfaction.
