Social networking is a hot topic in today’s communication research,college students are the most active group of the information frontier, thecombination of the two produces a special interpersonal form.The traditional theory of Six Degrees greatly underestimates the closedistance between people in social network. This study takes12,717university students in Shanghai Jiao Tong University as a research object,make relationship analysis based on data from Renren.com, and find theconclusion that the average interval person between any two independentusers is1.82, thus the relationship in between is1.8degree.I develop an information acquisition system, which can get the basicinformation of millions of college students in the social network and thecomplete friends relationship data of tens of thousands of college students. Idevelop a large number of programs, make theoretical calculations based onreal user information and interpersonal data, build models, draw contact pathof unfamiliar friends, and eventually show the interpersonal relationships ina virtual world,finally combine theoretical analysis and research.I make a study based on the the real interpersonal data of particularstudent group of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, give a precise description ofthe statistical model of interpersonal communication relationship. Throughstudy of Social network visualization, users in the social network canunderstand their known and potential unknown friends, meanwhile combtheir interpersonal networks.
