A Studt On The Issue "Alone Together" Among College Students In Social Network Era

With the background of networked era,social networking has become the mainstream of social development at present.Using application platform such as micro-blog,WeChat,QQ,social communities and the forums has been an epidemic trend;the ways,content and emotion of social contacts have been enriched while the progress of the whole society has a promotion.However,networked communication mode also imbued with a potential disadvantage,and brings anxiety,depression and other negative emotions.This paper makes a random survey on contemporary college students' social contact ways,frequency,content and social network cognition,and analyzes college students' social identity and sense of belonging on networks,further proves the problem of college students' loneliness,namely,"Alone Together" caused by social network,and uses SPSS statistical software to analyze and verify the hypothesis:(1)The use of social networks,the sense of identity and belonging on social networks and "off-network" loneliness proved to be a good positive correlation:college students spend more time on social network's communication than that in reality,the loneliness will correspondingly increase when off networks,while once can find a sense of belonging and identity on network,so the dependency on it will be increased correspondingly,so as to the time spent on social networks,and thus,the "off-network" loneliness will be increased.(2)The usage of social networks,the sense of identity and belonging on social networks have significant effects on the "off-network" loneliness:with the increase of using social networks,the sense of identity and belonging on social networks,college students' sense of loneliness will be increased.(3)There is no significant difference in the group of single child or non-single-child,and different majors,namely,whether a student is single or not,and in what major will not affect the "off-network" loneliness of college students.(4)There is a significant difference between different grades and genders on loneliness of college students,that is to say,the mean of girls' is higher than that of boys',and the mean of higher grades is higher than that of the lower grades.The survey's results show that:using social network has influenced students'interpersonal relationships,and the interview further shows the issue among college students.Based on the survey and interview results,finally,some corresponding suggestions on its causes are put forward as follows:(1)Learn to be alone,it means a good regulation on self-emotion,self-cognition update,also can have a better deal with the inadaptation on social relations and interpersonal interaction.(2)Communicate face to face,put the social network communication on a right status,and balance the interpersonal communication between online and offline.(3)The family care,family emotional is particularly important,it's conducive to social participation and improve the sense of self value and self-acceptance.(4)Educational guidance,attach importance to education on individual shaping.
