A Study On The Influence Of WeChat On College Students' Interpersonal Communication

Nowadays,WeChat is the most widely used social software.As a new type of instant messaging and virtual communication tool,WeChat provides a lot of convenience for the communication of college students.At the same time,it is changing the way of college students' interpersonal communication and affecting the college students' interpersonal behaviors in reality,which has catched the extensive attention of academia and the managers of colleges.At present,the study on the impact of WeChat on the interpersonal relationship of college students has made a lot of achievements.However,the study on the comparative analysis of the WeChat communication and the real communication of college students in different interpersonal groups from the perspective of the strong and weak relationship is a blank.Based on the strong and weak relationship theory and the general interpersonal communication theory,this paper established a measurement model of interpersonal communication intensity of college students,and designed the questionnaires of college students' WeChat communication and real communication..By analyzing the 542 valid sample data,the author studied the individual differences of using the WeChat,the intensity differences of the interpersonal communication between college students and different groups,and the impact of the WeChat communication on the real communication when college students contact with different groups.It was found that college students use WeChat frequently,neglecting the interpersonal communication in real life,which results in frequent interpersonal problems.There are four kinds of different interpersonal communication groups in the state of communication imbalance.The interpersonal behaviors are limited to the Circle of Friends.The willingness and intensity of general students' interpersonal communication,teachers and students interaction,and the parent-child interaction are obviously insufficient,which may affect the growth and development of college students.However,the WeChat communication has a distinct relationship with the real communication.Finally,in order to solve the existing problems in WeChat using,WeChat communication and the real communication of college students,the author put forward the corresponding strategies and suggestions from three aspects: the guidance and management of school education,college students' self-cognition and behavior management and the social management.
