With extensively using of Daguerre photography, with the five trade ministersof the government of the Qing Dynasty, Qi Ying taking portraits, photography hasbeen changed from an event or a result which a photographer witnessed to a workwhich has greater influence on the happening things.With popularizing of cellphones which equipped with HD camera and somespecific function digital cameras such as Casio EX-TR350, taking photos is here andthere full of our daily life.At the same time, developing of the Internet offers a platform which can beused to share our photos. No matter where you are, weibo, renren, bbs, or wechat,you can feel that “the period of reading picture” is coming.College students are in their transition period between college and social. Theyare on the way to discover themselves, so they need much more identification. Bythe way, they are willing to accept high-tech, so they are the main audience ofuploading photos though SNS. Above all, they constitute the youth culture group ofphotography.This research mainly use observation and questionnaire survey to discuss themind and behavior of uploading, browsing, commenting photos between collegestudents on SNS, and how the phenomenon affects college students’ socialrelationship. This paper will link Cyber Psychology on youth and youth culture tothis issue.
