| Peer-to-Peer (P2P) network is a new-type network structure. Compared withtraditional Client/Server（C/S） network structure, it has many superior features such asnon-centralized control, strong robustness,scalability,load balancing, etc. Nowadays,P2P technology is widely applied in file sharing, instant messaging, streaming media,distributed storage, cooperative computing, information search and many other fields. Inrecent years, as the development of the technology of integration of three networks(telecommunication network, computer network and cable television network) and theemergence of high performance and high definition teleputers, P2P’s application in theterminal of home theater has more and more remarkable prospect. However, concerningfile sharing, the standard P2P system has overload problem when excessive resources areshared and copyright infringement problem when all resources are transmitted freelybetween P2P nodes.eDonkey protocol is a classical P2P based file sharing protocol. This paper introducedits overall framework and communication mechanism and designed an efficient, secureand “private” eDonkey based file sharing system. According to the demand of the system,some improvements of the standard eDonkey file sharing system are made.Considering providing excellent file sharing service, a “seed node” was added as aresource server to distribute the original resources, changing the P2P protocol to P2SPprotocol.In order to prevent overload of the “seed node”，a strategy of dynamically controllingconnection between user terminal nodes and the“seed node” was proposed, which wouldeventually dynamically control the load of the “seed node”.For the purpose of protecting copyright, a verification procedure of the validity anddownload right of the eDonkey node was added at the communication transmission layer,making the private resources would only be shared in the private eDonkey network andwould not be spreaded to outside public eDonkey networks. |
