ObjectivesTo establish a scientific evaluation index system for medical social work performance, which can be used to make a full-range evaluation, lay the solid foundation and further promote the development of medical social work in China.ContentsThe thesis consists of the following aspects:evaluation system for medical social work at home and abroad; medical social work performance evaluation index system; SWOT analysis of domestic medical social work; suggestions for medical social work performance.Methods1.Literature Review Method:develop an initial evaluation index system based on policy research and literature study.2.Delphi Consultation:28experts who specialized in the field of medical social work, public health, clinical health, health policy, nursing and health management were selected to participate in Delphi consultation. The evaluation indexes and their weights were determined after two rounds of Delphi consultation.3.Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP):The AHP is a structured technique for dealing with complex decisions.Based on mathematics and psychology, the AHP was developed by Thomas L. Saaty in the1970s and has been extensively studied and refined since then. It provides a comprehensive and rational framework for structuring a decision problem, for representing and quantifying its elements, for relating those elements to overall goals, and for evaluating alternative solutions. In this study it’s used to determine the weight of the three first-level indexes.4.Stratified Analysis Method and Multiplication Method:They are used to determine the weight of the second-level and third-level indexes based on the points from Delphi consultation.Results1.Construct a hierachical index system composed of three groups, namely basic condition, medical social work and extra excellent work, including three first-level indices,12second ones and37third ones after two rounds of Delphi consultation. In the three first-level indices, basic condition accounts for29.23%,medical social work40.02%, and extra excellent work30.75%.2.The expert positive coefficients of the two rounds are90.63%and96.43%respectively, the expert authority levels0.709and0.715,the expert coordination factors0.813and0.84.Conclusions1.Overall, the index system has reasonable structure and comprehensive contents, reflecting the core idea of medical social work and performance evaluation.2.The experts in Delphi Consultation are highly positive, authoritative and coordinated.3.The SWOT anylasis suggests that there are both strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats in the development of medical social work.
