Based On The Javame Mobile Phone Weather Forecasting System

With the need of the agricultural and industry development and improvement of peoples' lives, the changes of meteorological conditions are being paid more and more attention for their affluences on the production and people's life. It is an important task for our meteorological experts to provide efficient, in-time weather forecasting. With the mobile phone being popularized, function being increasing and internet development, the task will be well accomplished. In order to better facilitate public search the weather forecast by using cell phones at anytime, a set of mobile weather forecasting system was developed.The first, this thesis introduced the Java ME development environment, Eclipse development platform and specific steps of Java ME's procedures created. The second, the related technologies to the cell phone weather forecast system were analyzed, including graphical user interface technology, mobile image processing technology and Java ME network Programming technology. The last, it's introduced that the overall structure, the specific design and implementation of the mobile weather forecasting system.For example, the Nokia N78 mobile phone system, the system used Eclipse as a development tool for Java ME and database server using Microsoft SQL Server 2005. After this system was completed, the user can search the weather forecast at anytime.
