Design And Implementation Of Mobile Anti-Lost System On Symbian

With the development of technology, Mobile phone has moved from a luxury into people's daily necessities. As the increasing of phone's storage capacity and the combination of cell phone and camera, more and more people begin to make personal information, which include photos, videos, pictures and so on, stored on their mobile phone. Many lawbreakers have started to pay attention to this area. The mobile information security issues caused by phone lost should be treated seriously.This paper introduces the background of the research project, and presents the technical background related to the system, including Symbian smart phone operating system, security issues of mobile phones and current status of anti-lost technology. Then it summarizes the main objectives of the whole system to be achieved, and elaborated on the general framework and system design. On the basis of correct comprehension about each module's functions and the relationship among them, the paper introduces the implementation of the system, the result of functions'testing. Through analyzing fundamental principles of the current mobile phone anti-lost technology, this paper presents mobile anti-lost service system as a solution to the problem of smart phone lost, the system provides three core functions:(1) Monitoring on SIM card in mobile phone, once mobile phones is stolen, the system would take security protection actions, such as locking mobile phone, alarming,.etc; (2) Remote control by SMS command, by sending short messages with a specific format, user could control the mobile phone toexecute a series of actions, such as deleting private information.
