Based Security Platform Of Symbian Os Smartphones

Along with the development of wireless networks and mobile technologies, smartphone have more and more power; hardware prices and communication expense lower make smartphones use widely. Yet, it also faced many security risks and threats: information unauthorized to access, information theft, equipment damage ,devices lost and other reasons causes the data and information lost.Protecting user's data that in smartphone and network are the most important issues of security management.This paper, researching the architecture and platform security features of Symbian OS and considering the mobile phone with limited resources,solutions for these issues.(1) To solve the issue of user information security that in smartphone, this paper use different methods to solve different issues: encrypt user's sensitive information; uploaded contact information to the Web server, avoiding contacts lost; to encrypt notepad and calendar information or upload to the Web server, advance user information security.(2) In order to protect user information safety in the public network transmission process, this paper use the classic network 3DES encryption algorithm to encrypt data in transmission, DES algorithm key extracted from the chaotic sequence.(3) In order to improve the safety of authentication, this paper design a double authentication way and the one time one password authentication Based on Schnorr protocal ,we can prevent replay attacks so enhance the system security with the way.(4) In order to improve network transmission efficiency, this paper based on features of Symbian OS asynchronous services and UDP to design a new protcoal.On the basis of above, this paper designed a security management platform on Symbian OS mobile.The system has been tested and result show that the system, having more functions and high security, able to effectively protect user data safety.so the platform on smartphone have an important and practical significance and value.
