The means of media which are spread via image are presenting increasingly advancedtechnology of making images and videos. They are also influencing and reconstructinghuman’s living state by their strong infection and various forms in order to constructvisual culture in the society. Audience, as the subject of behavior, the revolution of theiridentity and position reveals their attitudes towards images and the idea about themselves.The role of audience in The Truman Show and Black Mirror has a strong symbolism. It impliesthe process of revolution of their effects and identity in different stage of visual culture.The isolate、single、passive audience has been changed to interact、multiple and initiativeaudience. At the same time,however,audience has been controlled by images and visual desireand become alienate,which has exerted some negative effects to the environment of visualculture communication.
