The Simulation And Optimization Of Clinical Department Based On Arena

As a complicated system, there are many problems to be resolved the hospitals. For improving medical quality and efficiency, many hospitals began to find out an effective quality management program. The researchers were modifying and improving the health care process through researching lots of medical records. They found many effective statistical methods to evaluate and filter large amounts of data. And RSR is an analytical method based on the current situation of our basic health systems.As improved level of information technology, collecting medical statistics become relatively easy. Researchers focused on the improvement of health care restructuring process based on the practical experience and statistical data and have got a lots of results. However, taking implementation of restructuring and feedback of the optimization is a long cycle. Researchers and managers need to have a long-term observation and re-implement several times in order to be suitable for the hospital program.Growing computer simulation technology is making complex system simulation easier. As simulating system behavior, not only to know how the system works, but also to predict its future behavior and evaluation. Therefore, the simulation of the medical process optimization will save time costs and implementation costs greatly. In the current simulation of the hospital many researches focus on patient flow Simulation of hospital departments is lacking because of its extremely long time that may cause the medical system congestion.In this paper, using high-level simulator RockWell Arena 11.0 integrated VBA and Microsoft Office Excel, to assess the different sections of the patient flow and resource allocation are reasonable for the clinical departments and hospital departments' simulation. RSR method will be used to improve optimization, and reasonable timetable will be arranged for the hospital departments at last.To resolve the long time problem in the system, proposed a reasonable program to run the model in this paper.
