| Aimed at the queues & resources utilizing in outpatient service system of Sheffield children's hospital, the service modeling framework is outlined in Arena to keep up the complexity and optimize the object function on fully utilizing the resources & shortening waiting time of patients. So an outpatient service modeling is set by using simulation tools, Arena platform. Then adjusting resources & optimizing service through computer simulating, the sharing rates of resources are improved & patients waiting time is shortened. The simulation results invalided that the outpatient service quality is better than before. |
