| Bed resources in high-level hospitals in our country are very tight,and elective inpatients need to experience a long wait before they can be admitted.However the hospital is unable to inform the patient of the specific admission time,making the patient always in a state of blind waiting that needs to be prepared for admission at all times;many patients wait for a period of time and then go to other hospitals for treatment,resulting in invalid waiting.Patients have poor waiting experience and low satisfaction.This article expands the existing research on the admission process of elective inpatients.Under the condition of considering two types of patients with different priorities(the urgency of the disease determines the order of admission,divided into VIP and ordinary categories),a simulation model is constructed through the software Arena.Combined with the existing time window appointment mechanism,a simulation analysis of the admission process of two types of patients is carried out.The main research results of this paper are as follows:(1)The current research on the admission process of patients only considers a single category of patients.In the existing research results on the admission process of patients,this study considers two categories of patients with different priorities.Therefore,it is necessary to make treatment when there are free beds.Admission decision for a class of patients.This paper proposes a threshold admission strategy based on the number of patients waiting.Using Arena simulation software,a system simulation model for the admission process of two types of patients considering a variety of uncertain factors is constructed,and the simulation results are analyzed to obtain: the change of admission strategy It mainly affects the waiting experience of VIP patients,and the waiting experience of patients is more sensitive to changes in preparation strategies when the system is busy,the proportion of VIP patients is larger,and the impatience of regular patients is higher.(2)Construct two types of patient admission process simulation models based on time window appointments,and analyze the changes in the patient admission process before and after the introduction of time window appointments,to obtain: Time window appointment can effectively alleviate blind and ineffective waiting of patients,and the more busy the system is,the more obvious the improvement brought by the appointment of the time window.Compared with VIP patients,time window appointments mainly affect the waiting experience of regular patients,and the impact is more significant when the system is busy,the patient’s hospital stay is longer,and the patient’s impatience is high.In short,this study considered two types of patients with different priorities.By constructing a simulation model and analyzing,it compared the changes in the admission experience of the two types of patients before and after the time window appointment plan was introduced,and analyzed the impact of changes in system parameters and appointment strategies on the admission process,provide guidance for the design of time window appointment strategy. |
