The Clinical Study In Treating Urinary Incontinence After Stroke With Electro-Acopunture

Objective : to introduce treatment therapy of urinary incontinence after stroke by acupuncture with electric simulation and to evaluate its outcome.Methods: the research discussed the clinical treatment effect through treating urinary incontinence after stroke between two therapy .60 patients were randomly divided into a treatment group (n=30) treated by electro-acupuncture, a control group (n=30) taken traditional Chinese medicine(jinguishenqi pill) .The patients' improved degree and the biggest capacity of bladder of urinary incontinence were compared after treating.Result: after 2 weeks, the effective rate (83.3%) of the treatment group in urinary incontinence was superior to the control group (13.3%) with significant differences (P<0.01).The biggest capacity of bladder,two groups before and after treatment with dramatic difference(P<0.01).Conclusion: curative effect of electro-acupuncturein treatment of urinary incontinence was remarkable.The electro-acupuncture therapy is an effective and easy therapy.
