Diagnosis And Treatment Of Cerebral Salt Wasting Syndrome Induced Hyponatremia (Review And Case Report)

ObjectiveTo discuss diagnosis and treatment of hyponatremia due to cerebral salt wasting syndrome (CSW)MethodData from patients with CSW were analyzed, including clinical manifestation, laboratory result, treatment , illness progress and prognosis . Based on other medical articles, diagnostic criteria ,differencial diagnosis (from Inappropriate Secretion of Antidiuretic Hormone Syndrome ,SIADH)and proper treatment were established.ResultsPatients with CSW were cured through salt suppliment and volumic therapy.ConclusionIt is important for early diagnosis and appropriate treatment CSW induced hyponatremia.
