The Experimental Study Of Acupuncture On The Influenge Of SOD,MDA And Apoptosis Cell To The Rats Of Vascular Dementia

Vascular dementia(VD) is a group of clinical syndrome that cause cognitive and behavior deterioration because of the vascular disease. VD morbidity is from 15% to 20% of all the dementia diseases in western countries while the proption of VD among the dementia diseases is higher in Japan and Chinese . It is the second postion only lower to Alzheimer disease(AD) with the aging of the population and the increasing of the cerebral vascular disease ,the morbidity of VD is also increasing .It is threating seriously to the health and the life's quality of the aged. It is imperative for medical workers to find ways to prenvent and cure this disease.Purpose To study the effecvfof acupuncture on the learning dysmnesia of VD rats, the activities of SOD, the content of MDA in the cerebral issules and to observe the apoptosis cells in the site of CA, of hippocampus of VD rats. Method To select 36 male healthy Wistar rats,which were divided into 4 groups.They included negative injury group, model group, acupuncture group and medicine group. In our experiment , a kind of VD-model-rat was adopted which had been dealed with noninjury arterial clamps to clip double common carotid artery . To carry on acupuncture treatment on the Baihui-Dazhui acupuncture point of rat heads. Results of shuttle test , the activities of SOD and the content of MDA in the cerebral issules ,at the same time , the apoptosis cell changes were studied .Experiment results indicate:1.Acupuncture can decrease stroke times and time of shuttle rats 2.Acupuncture can promote the activities of SOD and diminish the content of MDA in the cerebral issules of VD-model-rat.3.Acupuncture can reduce the apoptosis cells in the site of CA1 of hippocampus.
