The Research On Broadcasting Wording Function Plainning Of Radio And Television

This dissertation focuses its study scope on Putonghua and Chinese dialect radio and TV broadcasting wording function planning. It aims to find out the specific rules about the wording of the radio and TV broadcasting in its spreading and communicating, in order to guide practice and give full play to language function to provide reference for the formulating of national language policies. In the concrete exploring process,we have tried hard to keep to the study mentality of controlling system, stressing key points, revealing the essence, and emphasizing comparison.This dissertation is made up of6chapters. The first chapter is the introduction and it introduces the study purpose, significance, reference summarizing, study method mentality and the frame of the dissertation. The second chapter clearly states the historical evolution and status of radio and TV broadcasting wording. The third chapter mainly studies the overall function and planning principles and rules. The fourth chapter explores the function and planning of radio and TV broadcasting wording. The fifth chapter studies the function and planning of Chinese dialect broadcasting wording. The sixth chapter is the conclusion part and it studies the ways of handling the relationship between Putonghua broadcasting wording and Chinese dialect broadcasting wording, and it has made a theoretical prediction about the development trend of the function planning of our country’s radio and TV broadcasting wording function.The radio and TV broadcasting wording embodies the basic function of broadcasting and TV media as well as the basic function of the language. We should combine these two functions. The radio and TV broadcasting wording totally has seven functions as public opinion guidance, information spreading, social education, cultural recreation, times incarnation, language service and language resources.The condition of Putonghua being the common broadcasting language in our country has two reasons. One is because of its language property and the other is because of its language popularity gained in the process of its being established as the national common language. In addition to the various functions it possesses in the domain of radio and TV broadcasting wording, Putonghua broadcasting wording also plays the role of defending state unification and national unity. Putonghua broadcasting wording has the special function of guiding the normalized use of national language and ensuring the valid information spreading.
