Fresh agricultural products,as an important food source for dining tables, have special properties of being perishable and vulnerable, and are prone to wear and tear during circulation, with high requirements for preservation. Therefore,in the supply chain management of fresh agricultural products, the issues of preservation and loss cannot be ignored.Due to the upstream supply enterprises undertaking the initial preservation work of fresh agricultural products, they may falsely report or exaggerate the true level of preservation efforts in order to seek more benefits, leading to information asymmetry in the supply chain of fresh agricultural products, ultimately resulting in low quality products for consumers, exacerbating the problem of unsold fresh agricultural products, damaging the profits of downstream enterprises, and hindering cooperation and win-win between upstream and downstream enterprises. From this,it can be seen that, considering preservation and loss, designing appropriate supply chain contracts to guide suppliers to truthfully disclose information on preservation efforts and improve the interests of all members of the supply chain system will contribute to the healthy and sustainable development of the entire fresh agricultural product supply chain. This article is based on the special properties of fresh agricultural products, combined with the dual effects of preservation and loss, and introduces the situation of information asymmetry caused by suppliers’ false reporting of preservation efforts. It studies the coordination problem of the supply chain of fresh agricultural products, and achieves supply chain coordination through scientific and reasonable contract design. The main content and conclusions of the study are as follows:Firstly, based on the practical problems in the supply chain of fresh agricultural products, this paper provides a basic overview of concepts such as fresh agricultural supply chain, circulation loss, and information asymmetry. It elaborates on theories and methods such as literature analysis,Stackelberg game theory, and numerical simulation.Combining relevant research progress and trends at home and abroad, this paper studies the coordination of the supply chain of fresh agricultural products from a comprehensive perspective. Then, with complete information on preservation efforts from suppliers and retailers, combined with the dual effects of preservation and loss, the coordination problem of the fresh agricultural product supply chain was studied.Led by upstream suppliers, centralized and decentralized decision-making models based on Stackelberg game were constructed, and the optimal decisions and profits were obtained. The impact of the sensitivity coefficient of preservation efforts was explored, and the optimal results were compared and analyzed to demonstrate the necessity of supply chain coordination.Supply chain coordination was successfully achieved by designing a combination contract of "Revenue sharing+Preservation and loss cost sharing",Finally, the feasibility of the contract was verified through numerical analysis.Research shows that when consumers have a high sensitivity coefficient to preservation efforts, wholesale price, retail price, and preservation effort level are all positively correlated with the sensitivity coefficient of preservation efforts;Compared with decentralized decision-making,centralized decision-making can improve the profitability of the supply chain system, increase investment in preservation efforts, reduce losses, and provide more competitive retail prices;By introducing a combination contract of "Revenue sharing+Preservation and loss cost sharing",as long as a suitable parameter range is determined, the profits of each member in the supply chain can be improved, and ultimately supply chain coordination can be achieved. Finally,in the case of asymmetric information between suppliers and retailers regarding preservation efforts, combined with the dual effects of preservation and loss, the coordination problem of the fresh agricultural product supply chain under information asymmetry was studied.Led by upstream suppliers, decentralized decision-making models based on Stackelberg game were constructed, and the optimal decision and profit were obtained. The impact of false reporting coefficient was explored, and the optimal results before and after false reporting were compared and analyzed. The reasons for suppliers’ false reporting of preservation efforts in reality were explained, and the necessity of supply chain coordination was once again explained,The use of the same combination contract of "Revenue sharing+Preservation and loss cost sharing" eliminates the motivation of suppliers to falsely report preservation efforts, successfully achieving supply chain coordination, and finally verifying the feasibility of the contract through numerical analysis.Research has shown that false reporting of the level of preservation efforts by suppliers does not affect wholesale and retail prices, but can lower the level of preservation efforts and induce retailers to make excessive purchases;False reporting of the level of preservation efforts can benefit suppliers, which also indicates that suppliers have the motivation to falsely report information on preservation efforts. This behavior infringes on the profits of retailers, causing unsold fresh agricultural products, and leading to conflicts and distrust between upstream and downstream enterprises;By introducing a combination contract of "revenue sharing+preservation cost sharing" and determining an appropriate parameter range, suppliers can be incentivized to truthfully disclose the level of preservation efforts, improve the profits of supply chain system members, and achieve overall supply chain coordination. The research results of this article expand the methods and theories of fresh agricultural product supply chain management, and have important practical reference value for upstream and downstream enterprises of the fresh agricultural product supply chain. It has important practical significance for reducing losses, alleviating unsold agricultural products, stabilizing prices, and ensuring high-quality supply in the market.
