Research On The Level And Influencing Factors Of Agricultural Modernization In Yunnan Province

The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that by 2035,a modern economic system will be built,a new development pattern will be formed,and new industrialization,informatization,urbanization and agricultural modernization will be basically realized.Yunnan is a relatively backward region in China’s "economic territory",and promoting Yunnan’s economic and social coordination and the development of "three rural areas" has always been the institutional arrangement and focus of Yunnan Province.From the perspective of practical operation: whether Yunnan can jointly complete the "four modernizations" with developed regions,whether the "timetable" of modernization can be expected to be achieved,and whether the important thing is whether the goal of agricultural modernization in Yunnan can be completed as scheduled,so the research and analysis of the level of agricultural modernization in Yunnan Province,prefectures and cities is of great significance.Based on the study of agricultural modernization related literature and analysis of the development process and current situation of agricultural modernization in Yunnan Province,this paper defines agricultural modernization according to the connotation of China’s modernization and China’s agricultural modernization,combines regional economic theory,industrial structure theory,agricultural development stage theory and ecological agricultural modernization theory,and follows the principles of epochality,objectivity,orientation,comprehensiveness,comparability and feasibility to construct an industrial system,production system,management system,quality and benefit,Comprehensive evaluation index system of6 first-level indicators and 21 second-level indicators for green development and protection,The entropy method,spatial autocorrelation model and relative development rate index were used to measure the development level and relative development rate of agricultural modernization in Yunnan Province,prefectures and cities,analyze their development from the dimensions of time and space,analyze the main factors affecting the level of agricultural modernization in Yunnan Province by using the spatial error model,and put forward countermeasures and suggestions in a targeted manner.The results of the study are as follows:(1)In terms of the level of agricultural modernization development,its prefectures and municipalities significantly improved the level of agricultural modernization from 2007 to 2021,Yunnan Province entered the transformation and leapfrog stage in 2020,and Kunming,Qujing,Yuxi,Honghe,Dali,Chuxiong,Wenshan and Baoshan also entered the transformation and leapfrog stage.Among them,Kunming,Qujing,Yuxi,Chuxiong and Dali have developed better,all exceeding the provincial average;The level of agricultural modernization in Zhaotong,Lijiang,Pu’er,Nujiang and Diqing is lower than the provincial average,and the development is poor.The level of agricultural modernization in the province shows a relatively concentrated spatial agglomeration trend,while the speed of relative development rate is alternately changing.(2)In terms of factors affecting the level of agricultural modernization,The main first-level indicators affecting the development of agricultural modernization in Yunnan Province are management system,quality and efficiency,and support protection;On this basis,the main secondary indicators affecting the development of agricultural modernization in Yunnan Province are the proportion of agriculture,forestry and water affairs expenditure in the added value of agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery,the proportion of fixed assets input of agriculture,forestry,animal husbandry and fishery to the total input,the proportion of junior high school and above,the per capita disposable income of farmers and agricultural labor productivity.Based on the above results analysis,the following four countermeasures and suggestions are proposed: optimize fiscal support for agriculture and strengthen agricultural support and protection;Improve the quality of farmers and promote the level of agricultural management;Improve agricultural labor productivity,promote farmers’ income,and improve agricultural quality and efficiency;Implement various safeguard measures to ensure the sustainable development of agricultural modernization.
