Digital China construction is a key force to build new competitive advantages of the country.The 14 th Five-Year Plan emphasizes efficient connectivity of digital infrastructure and gives full play to advantages in the scale and quality of data resources.Based on the input-output tables of five years from 2002 to 2020 compiled by the National Bureau of Statistics to compile the input-output tables of China’s digital economy in corresponding years,and uses input-output technique to analyze the characteristics and changing trends of industrial structure,industrial correlation effect and employment impact effect of China’s digital economy,for digital economy development and promote employment put forward the countermeasures.Firstly,the paper reviews the literature research on the issues related to digital economy at domestic and foreign,and explains the definition of digital economy,industrial classification criteria and employment impact.Reviewed the basic theories of input-output and explained the calculation methods of relevant input-output technical coefficients and employment effects.Secondly,according to standard for digital industry classification(2021),the industrial sectors in the original input-output table are divided and merged again.Based on the multiproportion decomposition coefficient method,the multi-year input-output table of China’s digital economy is compiled to distinguish the digital industrial sectors.Thirdly,based on the data of input-output table of digital economy,the general characteristics and change trend of industrial structure,industrial correlation effect and ripple effect in different periods are investigated.The results show that the development of digital industry sector is not balanced;With the characteristics of basic industries,digital industry has a deepening influence on related industries.Finally,using the employment effect coefficient,employment distribution model and employment potential coefficient analysis methods,explore the digital economy on the employment of a variety of impacts.It is found that compared with other digital industries,the digital product manufacturing industry has the advantage of attracting employment scale;The direct employment effect of digital product service industry is large,but it is close to the comprehensive employment effect of digital product manufacturing industry.In terms of time,the employment effect of the digital industry continues to wane.It is necessary to deepen the scale effect of key digital sectors,strengthen the correlation role of digital industry to key sectors,and accelerate the digital transformation of manufacturing,leasing and commercial and real estate sectors.Then,digital infrastructure and platforms should be improved,and digital skills training should be carried out to cope with Labour market changes. |
