"Made in China 2025",the special plan for scientific and technological innovation of modern services industry in the 13 th five year plan and the report of the 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China all propose to firmly implement"promoting industrial majorization and elevation, accelerating the development of advanced manufacturing and modern service industries" and "promoting deeper integration between primary and secondary industries and modern service industries"."To promote the deeper integration of primary and secondary industries with modern services industry. We noticed that the relationship between advanced manufacturing and modern service industries has been studied in depth, and the policy initiative to promote the development of the two has been posted the country’s strategic position. Each region has also launched relevant development strategies and gradually entered into the pilot project of integrating advanced manufacturing and modern services industry, expecting that the development of the "two industries" can promote further economic growth through the correlation of the two industries. However, due to the different industrial structure, geographical location and infrastructure of each region in China, the development of "two industries" is unbalanced between regions. Therefore, the thesis chooses to take the industrial correlation degree as the entry point and conducts an inter-regional comparative study on them based on the basic data of input-output table. This paper takes advanced manufacturing and contemporary service industries as the research objects, and the four economic regions in east, central, west and northeast China as the research regions, with 2012 and 2017 as the research periods.Firstly, the concept and classification of "two industries" are reviewed, input and output analysis theory, industrial association theory, industrial agglomeration theory and other related theories are explained, and input-output models and exploratory spatial data analysis are introduced. Then, the inter-regional comparative study of "two industries" is carried out from two paths, namely industrial association and spatial association, and constructive policy implications are proposed. In terms of industrial linkage,we first study the developments of the above mentioned "two industries" in China’s four major economic regions and representative provinces from the perspective of intermediate demand rate and intermediate input rate, and then measure and analyze the "two industries" in the four major regions at different levels of development through input-output tables and industry-related in-dices such as impact coefficient and inductance coefficient. At the level of spatial correlation, the spatial distribution characteristics of the "two industries" in China’s four major economies are firstly researched by using spatial auto-correlation analysis, after that the spatial lag model and spatial error model are used as the basis to analyze the overall spatial correlation of the "two industries" by introducing regional GDP per capita. The analysis results show that the development trend of "two industries" among regions is the same, but the direct economic contact is not strong, and the correlation between the "two industries" still needs to be further improved. In terms of spatial significance,by region, there are some regions where the "two industries" have not yet formed effective spatial connection, but from the overall perspective of the country, the interaction between the "two industries" is obvious. Finally, the prospects and shortcomings of this study are further pointed out.
