Research On Government Support For Promoting Cross-border E-commerce Development In Fujian Province

Cross-border e-commerce is a product of the era of data economy,globalization and Internet technology.It is an important carrier of resource allocation in the world market and an important way to maintain the steady growth of foreign trade,promote the transformation and upgrading of foreign trade and create new economic growth points.In recent years,cross-border e-commerce in Fujian province has achieved rapid development,especially since the outbreak of COVID-19.Traditional foreign trade has been severely impacted,but cross-border e-commerce has bucked the trend and maintained high growth,becoming a new engine for innovative development,transformation and upgrading of Fujian’s foreign trade.As a new form of business,cross-border e-commerce develops rapidly,but also has many problems,which need to be solved by the government.At present,the development of cross-border e-commerce in Fujian is still immature and in urgent need of government support and promotion.It is of great significance to analyze the problems existing in the development of cross-border e-commerce in Fujian province and put forward countermeasures to promote the development of cross-border e-commerce in Fujian Province from the perspective of government support.Guided by the government’s economic functions and the new public management theory,this study analyzes the basic situation of cross-border e-commerce development in Fujian province and the results of the questionnaire survey on promoting the development of cross-border e-commerce in Fujian Province by using questionnaire survey method,comparative analysis method and data analysis method.It is found that the main problems in fujian provincial government’s support for the development of cross-border e-commerce are slow customs clearance and inspection,immature logistics development,inadequate industrial chain competitiveness,and imperfect supporting services.In view of the problems,the causes are analyzed in depth from four aspects: cross-border e-commerce laws and policies,public service soft environment,public infrastructure construction,and government macro-guidance to industries and enterprises.At the same time,draw lessons from guangdong,zhejiang provincial government support the development of the cross-border electricity business experience,from the perfect refinement cross-border electricity laws and regulations,optimize the environment of cross-border electricity public service,strengthening the construction of cross-border electricity business hardware facilities,strengthening the government’s macro guidance of industries and enterprises,etc.,summarize the proposed cross-border electricity business in fujian province to promote the development of countermeasures of government support.It is hoped that these measures can provide reference for fujian Provincial government to promote the development of cross-border e-commerce at the current stage,accelerate the development of cross-border e-commerce,and help the high-quality development of Fujian Province.
