In the era of knowledge economy,consulting firms process and produce knowledge to meet customers’ needs.So,the application and creation of knowledge via effective knowledge management is the source of the competitiveness of consulting companies.This paper starts from the problems in knowledge management of Company A,excavates their deep causes based on the well-known SECI knowledge transformation model in the theories of knowledge management,and builds a knowledge management system suitable for Company A to help it improve knowledge management to enhance knowledge output.This study is of great value to guide the practice of knowledge management in Company A by using the theories of knowledge management.Company A has been deeply engaged in consulting services for foreign investment in China for many years.However,the problem of insufficient quality and efficiency of knowledge output of the recent years is discovered in Company A through on-site investigation.Based on the methods of interview and analytic hierarchy process,the paper finds that the following deep reasons for the problems of knowledge output in Company A are: knowledge exchange in socialization is not sufficient;deeply communication in externalization is not thorough;knowledge integration in combination is lacking;learning and practice is a shortcoming in internalization.For the above reasons,this paper builds the framework of Company A’s knowledge management system and puts forward corresponding strategies to the knowledge transformation process:strengthen the knowledge exchange by setting up the organization and direction and creating diversified activities;improve the deeply communication by configuring a differentiated team and forming a multi-form in-depth communication mechanism;complete the knowledge integration by supplementing the business closed loop,strengthening the organization,establishing its management standard,and building the data platform;improve the learning and practice by assigning personnel for systematical organization,expanding diversified activities,and building a convenient platform.In addition,this paper puts forward the s teps in five stages during the system implementation,and defines the personnel,technology and about66000 yuan of funds required as guarantee.This paper also proposes the expected goals and outputs regarding the potential results.The effective use of knowledge management methods can promote knowledge transformation,thus improving the quality and efficiency of knowledge output and maintain the competitiveness of enterprises.This study discusses the problem s of knowledge management in Company A from the perspective of SECI knowledge transformation processes.It builds the knowledge management system of Company A and explains the ways to boost the knowledge transformation by the four basic management modules.This study is of great value to the understanding of the theories of knowledge management,the promotion of the knowledge output in Company A and the enhancement of its competitiveness. |
