Study On The Construction Of Knowledge Management System In Management Consulting Industry

With the arrival of the era of knowledge economy, knowledge has become a vital resource for the growth of economy, for the development of society, as well as for the progress of enterprises. And accordingly, knowledge management has been paid more attention. By utilizing information and expertise systematically, knowledge management grasps and uses information to the most degree, and improves effectively the innovation ability, response ability, production efficiency, and skill making of organizations. Nowadays, the influences of knowledge management are reaching all trades and the whole economic field. As a typical member of knowledge industry, recently, management consulting industry is developing with leaps and bounds. And the emergence of knowledge management accelerates the breakthrough of its bondage, and facilitates its development. Knowledge, especially the abundant tacit knowledge contained in consulting experts'brains is the base of management consulting enterprises'stand and the source of their service. The core competitive ability of the Management consulting enterprises grows up and develops in the practice of the knowledge management, and they two are closely related to each other.Based on the above analysis, established in the knowledge management system (KMS) research of management consulting industry, and on the basis of the fully consideration of the features of it, the thesis analyzes the knowledge,knowledge management activity and knowledge management flow of management consulting industry, and brings forward its general conceptual model of KMS. Moreover, according to the model, it carries on analysis and design to KMS, and finally presents the systematic simple interface effect.The thesis mainly completes the following 5 tasks:(1) Based on the brief comment on the research results of knowledge management and KMS, it expatiates with emphasis the current theory and study results of the knowledge management of management consulting industry.(2) It analyzes the relative concepts in forming KMS of management consulting industry, and therefore establishes theoretical basis for writing the paper.(3) It describes systematically and thoroughly the knowledge of management consulting industry, recognizes the knowledge management activity of management consulting operation process, and establishes knowledge management process. Besides, on the basis of this, it brings forward the general conceptual model of the KMS of management consulting industry, and analyzes the key factors in the model. (4) According to the above conceptual model, it carries on the analysis and design to KMS, and presents its overall design scheme and functional design scheme.(5) Chooses a management consulting company as research object, and carries on antitype development; Introduces the applied background and development environment of antitype system in details; describes the function systematically; presents the main interface effect of archetype system.At the end, the thesis sums up its research results and contributions, and points out the necessary further research in the mean time.
