Research On The Impact Of Digital Economy Development On The Circulation Efficiency Of Agricultural Product Wholesale Markets And Regional Differences

In the context of the digital economy,the development of the digital economy directly affects the circulation efficiency of the agricultural product wholesale market,leading and promoting the transformation and upgrading of the wholesale industry.How to realize the digital transformation of the agricultural product wholesale market is an important practical issue.In order to study the impact of the development of the digital economy on the circulation efficiency of the agricultural product wholesale market,first of all,this paper sorts out the relevant research results at home and abroad,defines the relevant concepts,and elaborates from the perspectives of circulation economy theory,input-output theory,transaction cost theory,and network effect theory.,and then sort out the action mechanism of the digital economy on circulation efficiency from the three dimensions of the positive promotion mechanism of the digital economy,the nonlinear action mechanism and the influence of regional heterogeneity.Secondly,this paper uses the SBM-DEA model and the principal component analysis method to measure the circulation efficiency and digital economy level index of the agricultural product wholesale market.Finally,based on the national provincial panel data from 2010 to 2019,this paper takes the level of digital economy as the threshold variable and the circulation efficiency of agricultural product wholesale markets as the explained variable,and establishes a panel threshold model to test the relationship between the level of digital economy and circulation efficiency.The linear relationship is then used to analyze the regional differences in the impact of the digital economy through a panel fixed effect model.The results show that:(1)The development of the digital economy has a significant positive impact on the overall circulation efficiency of the agricultural product wholesale market,but only when the digital economy develops to a certain extent,the productivity effect of the digital economy can be fully exerted.When the level of the digital economy is low,the effect of the digital economy on the improvement of circulation efficiency is not obvious,and there is a "productivity paradox";when the digital economy is at a high level,it will lead to a substantial increase in circulation efficiency.(2)The productivity effect of the development of the digital economy comes more from digital infrastructure;there is a single threshold effect in the application of digital technology,and after crossing the threshold,the impact turns from negative to positive.(3)There are obvious differences in the impact of the digital economy on the circulation efficiency of the agricultural product wholesale market between regions.The level of the digital economy has a significant effect on improving the circulation efficiency in the eastern region.The impact in the central region is negative and significant,and the impact in the western region is positive.to insignificant.The research suggests that the agricultural product wholesale market should seize the opportunity of the development of the digital economy,actively carry out digital transformation,further improve the construction of digital infrastructure,change the traditional management mode,and realize the modernization,transformation and development of the wholesale market.
