With the vigorous development of China’s market economy,the economy of various forms of ownership has expanded rapidly,which has brought impact and challenges to the traditional state-owned enterprises.Especially in recent years,China’s economy has entered the "new normal" development track.Affected by the epidemic,the market competition among enterprises has become increasingly fierce.Enterprises can use self reform to improve their own strength.Among many reform methods,changing the human resource management mode is the key factor to help enterprises comprehensively improve their market competitiveness.As an important part of human resources,performance appraisal can release the enthusiasm of employees,enhance their enthusiasm,condense the strategic synergy of the enterprise,break through the operational constraints of the enterprise,and finally achieve the strategic objectives of the enterprise and enhance its core competitiveness.JN company,the research object of this paper,is a state-owned enterprise in Dezhou,Shandong Province.It has been 20 years since its establishment.In recent years,at the moment of high-speed economic operation,JN company is facing various opportunities and challenges,and as the backbone of the middle-level managers,the impact caused by the lagging performance appraisal is becoming more and more obvious.This paper will use the relevant theories and methods of performance appraisal to comprehensively analyze the current situation and problems of performance appraisal of middle-level managers in JN company,comprehensively consider the development direction and business philosophy of the enterprise,and optimize the performance appraisal of middle-level managers in order to ensure the rapid development of the enterprise.The optimized performance appraisal of middle-level managers in JN company will achieve remarkable results in improving the enthusiasm of employees,promoting a good working atmosphere in the enterprise,and promoting the rapid development of the enterprise.First of all,the optimized performance appraisal can stimulate the competitive instinct of staff and enable staff to work in a benign environment where they dare to compete for the first;Secondly,the optimized performance appraisal can enable employees to pay more attention to their work,have more and better benchmarking opportunities with each other,and learn from and help each other will become the main theme;Finally,high work passion and harmonious team atmosphere will create advanced productivity and promote enterprises to continuously improve their core competitiveness and comprehensive strength in the new environment of increasingly fierce competition.
