"Job burnout" represents the mental state of losing work attitude and negatively evaluating the value of the work you are engaged in,which is not only detrimental to personal growth,endangering the quality of family life,but also affecting the promotion of work and hindering economic and social development.job burnout is widespread in all walks of life,and the taxi industry is no exception.Due to the fierce competition in the industry,the impact of market economy,the increasingly high standard of customer demand,high-quality diversification,the shortcomings of the management mode of taxi companies,personal subjective and objective requirements and other factors,employees of taxi companies are facing more and more work pressure,psychological pressure and mental pressure,which can easily lead to negative emotions such as irritability,boredom,confusion,disappointment,negativity and indifference in their work,and their values and sense of accomplishment are low.If these negative emotions are not alleviated and channeled in time,In addition,there is relatively little academic research on the job burnout of taxi company employees.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to study the job burnout of employees in taxi companies.In this paper,the representative employees of H taxi company are taken as the research object.Firstly,the research results and shortcomings of domestic and foreign scholars on job burnout are summarized by literature analysis.On the basis of ERG theory,two-factor theory,pay-reward imbalance theory and organizational support theory,20 employees of H taxi company are interviewed on the spot,and with the help of MBI—HSS,MBI—ES and MBI—GS scales.Secondly,a questionnaire survey was conducted on the job burnout of 372 employees of H taxi company,and real and accurate first-hand information and data were obtained.Then,by using statistical analysis method and SPSSAU statistical software,the status quo,level and demographic differences of job burnout of employees in H taxi company are analyzed,and the causes and mitigation measures of job burnout are analyzed.It is found that the job burnout of employees in H taxi company is above the middle level,among which emotional exhaustion is the most serious,which is manifested as: feeling physically and mentally exhausted,stressed,insomnia,gradually doubting the significance of their work,thinking that they are not suitable for their current posts,becoming less and less serious about their work,and gradually losing their enthusiasm for work.There are significant differences in job burnout among employees with different characteristics such as gender,age,education,unit working years,income level and working hours.The main causes of job burnout comprise the following parts: from the aspect of society: fierce industry competition,weakening social support,low public recognition,etc.;from the aspect of organization: weak organizational support,insufficient incentive measures,heavy workload,low income and welfare,lack of communication channels,monotonous work content,etc.;from the aspect of family: low family support and high family pressure,etc.;from the aspect of individual: employees lack of self-awareness,different individual adaptability,different individual backgrounds,etc.Survey shows that occupational burnout of staffs in H taxi company is caused by a number of reasons: long working hours,sedentary when driving,monotonous work,low income,high risk,fierce competition in the industry,etc.Therefore,it draws a conclusion that the problem of H taxi company can be effectively alleviated by adopting measures such as building a comfortable operation environment,raising staffs’ salary and benefits,providing physical health check and rehabilitation services for staffs,at the same time perfecting dynamic pricing of the taxi service,removing communication barriers between staff and the company and exploring diversified profitable channels,etc. |
