Abstract/Summary:
Enterprises are the main body of national economic development and an important force in creating employment opportunities and providing various products and services to society.Among them,corporate social responsibility is the core of achieving sustainable development of enterprises,and corporate responsibility competitiveness is the key to achieving high-quality development of enterprises.The emergence of the ESG evaluation system,the development of carbon tariffs,and the issuance of EU green directives have all deepened the foreign trade barriers of Chinese enterprises to a certain extent.The lack of corporate responsibility competitiveness not only leads to damage to the corporate image,but also intensifies international market conflicts and restricts the development of enterprises in the international market.Corporate responsibility competitiveness has become a new way for enterprises to gain advantages in the fierce market competition.As an important pillar industry of the national economy,China’s textile and clothing industry has made outstanding contributions in stabilizing the economy,ensuring people’s livelihoods,and preventing risks.However,there are still misconceptions and blind spots in balancing economic,social,and environmental relationships in the textile and clothing industry.The resulting corporate social responsibility issues such as substandard work sites,employee injuries,and substandard quality have led to a series of negative consequences such as industrial shutdowns,employee strikes,and consumer deviations,which have hindered the development of the industry.The key reason is that there is no mechanism model for the formation of corporate responsibility competitiveness in the industry and evaluation standards for corporate responsibility competitiveness that can be followed,leading to deviation from reality in the practice of responsibility competitiveness of relevant enterprises,unsatisfactory results,and even a crisis of survival for enterprises.As the main force driving the high-quality development of the textile and clothing industry,it is of great significance to conduct targeted research on the responsibility and competitiveness of large enterprises.Based on this,the study first sorted out the theories of corporate competitiveness and corporate social responsibility,analyzed the connotation of corporate responsibility competitiveness,and pointed out that the external manifestation of corporate responsibility competitiveness is a competitive advantage that can improve the comprehensive value and sustainable development ability of enterprises.Then,the development status of corporate social responsibility in the textile and clothing industry was summarized.Based on the development trends of the textile and clothing industry and the influencing factors of corporate responsibility competitiveness,a theoretical model of the formation mechanism of responsibility competitiveness for large textile and clothing enterprises was constructed on the basis of determining the main stakeholders.The competitive advantages brought by corporate social responsibility behavior were summarized from three levels: resources,capabilities,and environment,the study emphasized the importance of strategizing corporate social responsibility.Subsequently,a path model for realizing the responsibility competitiveness of large textile and clothing enterprises was constructed from the five key links of corporate responsibility competitiveness practice,and the focus of each link was pointed out.Subsequently,based on the pyramid model and the "triple bottom line" theory,with reference to relevant international and domestic standards,scholars’ research,etc.,combined with the characteristics of China’s large textile and clothing enterprises,the primary indicators for evaluating corporate responsibility competitiveness were selected and stratified according to stakeholders.Then,the proposed evaluation indicators were screened and organized through expert consultation,A responsibility competitiveness evaluation index system suitable for large textile and clothing enterprises had been constructed.Using Analytic Network Process(ANP),the expert scoring results were processed and input into Super Decisions software to determine the weights of each indicator.The influence relationship between indicators was added to the calculation process,making the weight results more objective.The weight calculation results showed that the practice of responsibility competitiveness in large textile enterprises should focus on achieving responsibility competitiveness at the levels of shareholders,employees,consumers,government,and the environment,and highlighted the importance of responsibility management in corporate responsibility competitiveness practice.Finally,three typical listed enterprises in the textile and clothing industry were selected for empirical research to verify the effectiveness of the indicator system.Then,a specific analysis was conducted on the ANP model evaluation results of one of the typical enterprises,and improvement suggestions for corporate responsibility competitiveness were proposed based on the actual situation of the typical enterprise.The study demonstrated the process of selecting appropriate paths for enhancing responsibility competitiveness based on the evaluation results of responsibility competitiveness for relevant enterprise systems.
