| Benefiting from the progress of global Internet and online payment technology,global commodities and online sales platforms are deeply integrated.Chinese cross-border e-commerce enterprises have emerged and grown on a large scale,and a large number of Chinese enterprises have gone abroad to explore the international market.It is followed by intensifying competition among enterprises,and consumers’ demand for the speed of commodity circulation and the quality of service is constantly improving,so they have higher and higher requirements for logistics distribution in overseas warehouses.Cross-border e-commerce enterprises are faced with complex problems and many challenges in their survival and development.Chinese scholars and enterprises have conducted a large number of targeted studies and provided many effective solutions.However,in view of enterprises in different countries and regions,in different stages of development,with different capabilities in the complex situation,how to choose the mode of overseas warehouse?First of all,this paper aims at the operation and management of cross-border e-commerce enterprises’ self-built overseas warehouses.Based on the theoretical research and review of the literature method,this paper explores the theories that can support this research and seeks the theoretical basis for cross-border e-commerce enterprises’ self-built overseas warehouses.Secondly,based on the current situation and characteristics of the cross-border e-commerce industry,combined with the comparative analysis of S Company’s self-built overseas warehouse and common cross-border logistics modes,the comparison of three different modes: warehouse in warehouse mode overseas warehouse,custody warehouse mode overseas warehouse,and self-operated warehouse mode overseas warehouse shows that cross-border e-commerce enterprises can improve their competitiveness by using overseas warehouse.Thirdly,this paper analyzes the external and internal factors affecting self-built overseas warehouse,including external environment and market competition.Mode comparative analysis uses three first-level indicators of overseas warehouse construction,overseas warehouse management and overseas warehouse operation,and subdivides 13 second-level indicators to evaluate the construction cost,operation capacity and business processing capacity of different types of overseas warehouse,and analyzes the selection of overseas warehouse mode.Finally,based on the construction mode of cross-border e-commerce offshore warehouse,the analytic hierarchy process is used to build an analysis model.Through the establishment and operation analysis of S Company’s three overseas warehouse modes,including self-run warehouse,warehouse in warehouse and custody warehouse,the evaluation system of cross-border e-commerce enterprises in the construction of overseas warehouse is constructed based on literature research method,case study method and empirical analysis method.The conclusion of this study is as follows: when cross-border e-commerce enterprises build overseas warehouses by themselves,firstly,they choose self-operated overseas warehouses due to their strong capital,technology and management strength.Secondly,the enterprise has insufficient funds,technology and management,warehouse in warehouse mode overseas warehouse.Again,the enterprise has sufficient funds,no technology and management,custody mode overseas warehouse.Finally,S Company has capital,technology and management conditions,so it is suitable for self-operated overseas warehouse mode.This paper combines analytic hierarchy process(AHP),case study,linear synthesis method and questionnaire survey,takes the overseas warehouse construction of S Company as an example,provides case reference and analysis model for cross-border e-commerce enterprises to build overseas warehouses,and supplements academic research and theoretical systems. |
