Contemporary society is in a period of rapid development of knowledge economy,which is based on science and technology and realizes large-scale production and circulation through the accumulation of information.In the enterprise management,the knowledge economy emphasizes people-oriented,focusing on innovation ability and talent incentive mechanism.Talent is the core competitiveness of an enterprise to develop and grow,and human resource management directly affects the direction of enterprise development.Performance assessment,as an important part of performance management,plays an irreplaceable role in the process of achieving corporate goals.This thesis takes the performance assessment of the field team of Guizhou branch of P Life Insurance Company as the research object.Based on the relevant theories of performance management,the thesis examines the current situation of the performance assessment of the field team of Guizhou branch of P Life Insurance Company comprehensively through questionnaires and other means,analyzes the problems existing in the performance assessment of the agent team and proposes corresponding countermeasures.The survey found that there were more than 130 agent teams(basic business units are departments and classes)in P Life Insurance Company Guizhou Branch at the end of 2022.With the downturn of life insurance market in recent years,most of the teams have unsatisfactory production capacity,low achievement rate of performance assessment,inactive work attitude and poor information feedback.In response,this thesis proposes to improve KPI index analysis,optimize and improve from more performance assessment indexes to match performance assessment with company development goals.To guarantee the smooth implementation of performance assessment,it is also necessary to improve the corresponding assessment guarantee mechanisms,such as improve the feedback and communication mechanism and performance assessment training mechanism and so on.This improvement plan has played a positive role in enhancing the sales performance of P Life Insurance Company Guizhou Branch and strengthening the cohesion and centripetal force of the agent team,and it is also hoped that this research plan will have some reference value for the performance assessment of other life insurance companies.
