Research On The Impact Of Factor Flow On The High-Quality Economic Development Level And Its Convergence In The Greater Bay Area Of Guangdong,Hong Kong And Macao

The exposition in the report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China made it clear that China has entered a stage of high-quality economic development.Under this premise,the Opinions of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on Accelerating the Construction of a Unified National Market have made a series of important expressions such as "promoting the smooth flow of labor and talents across regions",which enlightens the necessity of studying the relationship between factor flow and high-quality economic development.This thesis selects the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area as a model for regional development as the research object,provides empirical support for promoting high-quality economic development by promoting factor flow,expands the theory that factor flow affects high-quality economic development,and attempts to put forward relevant policy suggestions for further promoting factor flow and promoting high-quality economic development in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.This thesis first sorts out the research results at home and abroad from three aspects:the high-quality development of the regional economy,factor flow,factor flow and high-quality development of regional economy,and discusses and analyzes the mechanism of the impact of the factor flow on the high-quality development from a theoretical level.Secondly,based on the new development concept,the evaluation index system of high-quality economic development was constructed,and the weight of each index was determined by combining the coefficient of variation method to measure and analyze the economic growth quality of 11 regions in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area from 2009 to 2018.Thirdly.regarding the practices of other scholars,a factor flow level evaluation index system is constructed based on the relative changes of economic indicators before and after the occurrence of factor flow,and a spatial econometric model is established based on the spatial spillover of factor flow to analyze the relationship between the two.At the same time,a convergence model of a and β is established to analyze the convergence of the high-quality economic development level of the Bay Area.The main conclusions of this thesis are as follows:(1)The high-quality economic development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area shows a trend of fluctuation around a certain level and a slight increase,and the overall trend is stable and rising.(2)The flow of factors has a significant role in promoting the high-quality economic development level of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area,and the positive effect of infrastructure level,industrial structure,and fiscal expenditure scale on the high-quality economic development level of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area is also significant.(3)During the study period,the high-quality economic development level of the Greater Bay Area showed certain characteristics of σ convergence and obvious absolute β convergence.By constructing a conditional convergence model considering the level of factor flow,it is found that the conditions for the significant level of high-quality economic development in the Greater Bay Area β converge,and factor flow has a significant role in promoting the convergence of the high-quality economic development level of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
