With the rapid development of the Internet,China’s retail industry is entering a new stage.The retail industry of commercial supermarkets still faces many challenges,such as serious homogenization of goods,mutual independence of online and offline channels,and inability of information systems and processes to meet the development needs of new businesses.The14 th Five Year Plan outlines the concept of "driving changes in production,lifestyle,and governance through digital transformation as a whole." Therefore,many traditional retail enterprises in supermarkets have taken action to carry out digital transformation.This article takes the digital transformation of YH Supermarket as a research case,focusing on analyzing the motivation,path,and performance of the digital transformation of YH Supermarket.This article first describes the background and significance of the study,and summarizes the literature and theories related to digital transformation.Secondly,it systematically elaborates on the motivation and path of digital transformation of YH Supermarket,and comprehensively analyzes the impact of digital transformation on the performance of YH Supermarket using event research,factor analysis,and four non-financial indicators from two perspectives before and after the transformation,and puts forward suggestions.After in-depth analysis,this article concludes that: first,the combination of marketing channel integration,supply chain,and store digital management is the key link of digital transformation,and "synergy" is the goal that needs to be achieved in each key link of digital transformation.The main path for the digital transformation of YH Supermarket is to(1)build a digital capability foundation,integrate the construction and investment of omnichannel platforms online and offline,and effectively improve the operational capacity of the enterprise.(2)Optimize supply chain information flow,establish a digital supply chain system for products,and improve enterprise operational efficiency.(3)Establish a digital concept,optimize management models,create a digital employee management platform for internal employees,and improve work efficiency.(4)Full process digitization,integrating the full process digitization construction of "origin/supplier logistics store" into all aspects of the business process,improving the operational efficiency of offline stores.Secondly,through the performance analysis of the digital transformation of YH Supermarket,it can be found that the ability of enterprises to undergo digital transformation has improved their performance.Finally,based on the conclusions,provide relevant suggestions for the digital transformation of enterprise retail enterprises. |
