Research On The Mechanism And Effect Of The Synergistic Agglomeration Of Producer Services And Manufacturing For Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area

The low level of coordinated development between producer services and manufacturing in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area has become an important factor restricting the transformation and upgrading of the manufacturing industry and the improvement of overall industrial development benefits,and it is also an urgent problem to be solved in the construction of the Greater Bay Area.In the process of rapid economic development of the Greater Bay Area,the development tension and influence of the synergistic agglomeration of producer services and manufacturing industries have gradually become prominent.This paper takes the "feature description--formation mechanism--effect coordination" of industrial collaborative agglomeration as the logical main line,and constructs a relatively complete theoretical analysis framework from three dimensions of "industrial linkage--institutional matching--spatial linkage".Based on the panel data of 10 cities in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area(except Zhaoqing)from 2010 to 2020,this paper analyzes the measurement,formation mechanism,dual effect of industrial synergistic agglomeration and its effect on regional economic development.The findings are as follows:(1)Producer services and manufacturing industry have industrial synergistic agglomeration,but there are large differences between cities;(2)Productive service industry and manufacturing industry have not formed a collaborative positioning,which is manifested in that the availability of productive service industry has a positive impact on the location layout of manufacturing industry,but the availability of manufacturing industry has a negative impact on the location layout of productive service industry;(3)The urban rent level is an important coordination degree of the complementation and crowding-out effect of industrial synergistic agglomeration,and there is a nonlinear relationship of "negative first and then positive";(4)When city size is taken as the threshold variable,industrial synergistic agglomeration has a single threshold effect of "first positive then negative" on regional industrial structure rationalization,and a double threshold effect of "first negative then positive" on regional industrial structure elevating.(5)Institutional arrangements plays a positive role in the industrial agglomeration,the dual effects of and industrial synergistic agglomeration,and in the upgrading of regional industrial structure,but has a negative role in the rationalization of industrial structure.
