Study On The Production Efficiency Of Agricultural Organization Mode And Its Influencing Mechanism

Under the background of the global novel coronavirus pandemic and frequent natural disasters,the small-scale peasant production mode is facing great challenges in the fierce internal and external shocks,and the transformation and upgrading of agricultural production organization mode is imminent.At present,China ’s agricultural production organizations are experiencing the transformation and transition from small farmers to professional farmers,family farms,cooperatives and other organizational models.At the same time,various new production organization models are also booming.The production efficiency of different organizational models will affect their absorption of traditional farmers.It is necessary to make an objective and comprehensive evaluation of the production efficiency of China ’s existing major agricultural production organization models.Tobacco leaf production is the starting point of the whole tobacco industry chain.It is not only the source of raw materials for the tobacco industry,but also an effective way to help farmers get rid of poverty and help local economic development.Therefore,this paper aims to measure the production performance of various agricultural organization modes,study the most suitable production and management mode of crops represented by tobacco leaves,and explore the influencing factors and improvement paths of their production efficiency.Based on the field survey of Hanbin District,Xunyang County,Shiquan County,Pingli County,Ziyang County,Langao County,Zhenping County and Hanyin County in Ankang City,Shaanxi Province,227 tobacco farmers ’ questionnaires were collected.Case analysis and descriptive statistical analysis were used to sort out and classify the existing production organization models in Ankang City,and to explore the development trend and problems of tobacco production in Ankang City in recent years,and quantitative analysis was carried out using measurement methods.Firstly,this paper measures the production efficiency of three tobacco production organization modes by data envelopment analysis.Secondly,Tobit model is used to explore the influencing factors of tobacco production efficiency.Then,the explanatory model is used to analyze the mechanism of each influencing factor.Finally,the following conclusions are drawn :First,according to the production efficiency of each organization model measured by data envelopment analysis,it is found that the comprehensive technical efficiency value of professional tobacco farmers is the highest,followed by family farms,and the lowest comprehensive technical efficiency is traditional tobacco farmers.The pure technical efficiency value of traditional tobacco farmers is above the average level,but because of its low scale efficiency,its comprehensive efficiency value is the lowest;the pure technical efficiency value of family farms is the lowest,but the comprehensive technical efficiency value is at the average level because of the high scale efficiency brought by scale operation.The management level and production scale of professional tobacco farmers are at a high level,and this model has the highest production efficiency.Secondly,the analysis of the influencing factors of tobacco production efficiency found that the age of the head of household,the proportion of tobacco income,the trust of agricultural technicians,whether to buy tobacco insurance,whether to standardize production and whether to participate in tobacco technology training will significantly affect the efficiency of tobacco production.The age of the head of the household will have a significant negative impact on the production efficiency of tobacco leaves,while the proportion of tobacco income,the trust of agricultural technicians,whether to purchase tobacco insurance,whether to standardize production and whether to participate in tobacco technical training will have a significant positive impact on the production efficiency of tobacco leaves.Thirdly,among the six significant factors affecting tobacco production efficiency,the age of household head,the proportion of tobacco leaf income and the trust of agricultural technicians are the deep-seated root factors;whether to buy tobacco insurance,whether to standardize production and whether to participate in tobacco technical training are direct factors.In view of the above research conclusions,this paper puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions in order to improve the production efficiency of tobacco production organization mode in Ankang City.Firstly,according to the family endowment of different tobacco farmers,the tobacco farmers should be scientifically guided to transform the production mode.Second,improve the quality of tobacco production technology training,so as to improve the level of tobacco production technology of tobacco farmers,and further help to improve the efficiency of tobacco production;third,improve the risk perception level and risk tolerance of tobacco farmers,and guide tobacco farmers to actively declare tobacco insurance.
