| The advent of the Internet era has been accompanied by the rise of new media.The immediacy,openness,agility,interactivity and excitement that characterise the new media forms will be far greater than those of traditional media.In addition,the marketing methods and forms of communication brought about by the new media are constantly changing.A VUCA era of volatility,uncertainty,complexity and ambiguity is upon us.Not only that,but the global spread of the new crown epidemic from 2020 is exacerbating the complexity of a century of unprecedented change,bringing about a full-blown compound crisis.Tense epidemiological developments,changing policy directions,sluggish business growth and a diverse media landscape have made the market a hotbed of crisis.In the current complex environment,how Small and medium-sized enterprises(SMEs)can strengthen their internal management system according to the situation,how to break the work inertia and path-dependent mindset,how to quickly enhance their core competitiveness despite the complex and ambiguous external environment,how to not only anticipate the crisis,but also better resolve the dilemma,take the initiative to prevent and meet the challenges and achieve growth against the wind,has become a topic for in-depth consideration by major business owners.The article is based on the theory of performance management system and takes YZL Advertising Company,a local private enterprise,as the research object to discuss the current situation of the implementation of performance management system.Several methods like literature research,questionnaires,in-depth interviews and case studies have been adopted to explore the problems in the implementation of the performance management system of the company.Based on the actual development of YZL Advertising,the article aims to identify the problems of its management model and explore whether the current management model is in line with the future development of the company and whether it can actively respond to the unpredictable external situation.Faced with the problems of the current performance management system of YZL Advertising Company,the article compares various appraisal management tools and finally introduces the Objectives and Key Results(OKR)method as the core tool for optimising management into the performance management system,combining the original Key Performance Indicators(KPI)method to design a performance management system that supports the strategic development of the company and is oriented towards the strategic objectives of the company.In practice,through the priority attempts of the strategic first departments,the lessons learned in the design and practice of the new system will be summarised and continuously improved and adjusted,in order to achieve consistency in the performance objectives between individuals and departments,teams and organisations,to bring the practical significance of the management tool into play,to achieve company-wide application as soon as possible,to create a good management atmosphere,and finally to promote the strategic transformation and upgrading of the enterprise. |
