Study On The Evaluation Of The Competitive Synergy Of Cross-border E-commerce Industry In Jiangxi Province

The rapid development of global information technology and the ever-deepening trend of economic globalisation along with the outbreak of the COVID-19 have driven the emergence of a new global economic normal,with new changes in the current consumer environment and behaviour.As a new trade model that has emerged in recent years,the rapid development of the cross-border e-commerce industry plays an important role in the economic development of the country and even the region.The competitiveness system of the cross-border e-commerce industry is a very complex system,which is influenced by various actors such as the government,enterprises and consumers.The synergistic development of the cross-border e-commerce industry competitiveness system will promote the development of the cross-border e-commerce industry and the province’s economy,while on the other hand,it will hinder the further development of the cross-border e-commerce industry and the province’s economy.How to ensure that each sub-system cooperates with each other and promotes each other so as to improve the composite synergy of cross-border e-commerce industry competitiveness is an important issue.This paper takes the cross-border e-commerce industry in Jiangxi Province as the research object and divides the competitiveness of the cross-border e-commerce industry in Jiangxi Province into four subsystems based on the composite system theory and the diamond model: production factors,demand conditions,the performance of related and supporting industries and the competitive ability of local enterprises,and constructs an evaluation index system.A total of twenty indicators in terms of the subsystems of the cross-border e-commerce industry in Jiangxi Province from 2016 to2021 were selected,combined with the factors influencing the development of the competitiveness of the cross-border e-commerce industry in Jiangxi Province,a composite system synergy model was constructed,and the orderliness of each subsystem and the composite system synergy were calculated,and the results found that: the orderliness of each subsystem of the competitiveness of the cross-border ecommerce industry in Jiangxi Province from 2016 to 2021 increased year by year.However,the composite system synergy degree fluctuates up and down within the lower value in the low synergy state,and there is a phenomenon of low synergy level.This paper analyses the causes of the research results and provides countermeasure suggestions from the government,enterprises and multiple parties according to the actual situation,in order to promote the improvement of the composite synergy degree of Jiangxi’s cross-border e-commerce industry competitiveness and seize the opportunity to promote the rapid development of the province’s economy.
