Study On The Relationship Among Residents’ Leisure Motivation,Leisure Restriction And Leisure Participation

"Enriching leisure time is the latest achievement of human civilization",with the introduction of new policies for epidemic prevention and control,leisure and other tertiary industries began to gradually recover,people’s enthusiasm for leisure activities gradually increased,residents expect to find the carrier of spiritual desire in fast-paced life,leisure industry is increasingly becoming a majoy pillar of China’s economy.The dynamic grasp of the leisure status and psychology of residents at this stage will help relevant departments and enterprises to introduce more targeted measures to seize the opportunities and golden time of the development of the leisure industry.Based on a review of relevant studies and theories at home and abroad,this paper takes quantitative analysis as the main research method,and makes an empirical study of the leisure participation and the influence mechanism of leisure motivation and restriction on the leisure of Haikou residents.A total of 421 questionnaires were distributed,388 were effectively recovered and the relevant studies were conducted using SPSS 26.0 analytical software.By using descriptive statistical analysis,this paper makes a preliminary understanding of the demographics and leisure participation of the surveyors.The differences in leisure motivation and restriction between different demographics variables were analyzed by independent sample T-test and single factor variance analysis.Finally,the relationship between leisure motivation,restriction and leisure participation is explored by correlation analysis and the establishment of stratified regression model between the three.The following main conclusions are drawn:(1)Haikou residents are more inclined to dynamic,out-of-home and easy-to-realize collective leisure activities,and the frequency of leisure participation is at a medium level;(2)The strength of leisure motivation factors is knowledge exploration> ability achievement> physical and mental release>social interaction;The constraints on leisure are leisure facilities and services> their own conditions and consumer prices> leisure support and family environment;(3)There were significant differences in leisure motivation and leisure constraints in demographic variables;(4)There are positive effects in the correlation analysis of leisure motivation and leisure restriction;(5)By establishing stratified regression models,:it was found that the three dimensions of leisure motivation(knowledge exploration,social interaction,and physical and mental release)had significant positive effects on leisure participation;The two dimensions of leisure constraints(self-conditions,consumer prices,rest facilities and services)have a significant negative impact on leisure participation.Therefore,according to the above research results,five countermeasures are put forward to improve the participation of residents in leisure activities:(1)Strengthening residents’ leisure education and raising leisure consciousness;(2)The Government has increased its investment in the construction of leisure service facilities;(3)Focus on differentiated design of leisure activities;(4)Strengthening cooperation among leisure enterprises to promote common development;(5)Strengthening the safety management of leisure places.
