A Study On Developing Leisure Consumption In China

In 21st century,the mankind society is experiencing a revolutionary transit from production configuration to consumption configuration when knowledge economy and information age arrive.With the unceasing advance of productivity motivated by the rapid developments of science, leisure has aroused broad attention as an increasingly prevalent form of living practice in modern society.Owing to the demand on human's enjoyment and development,leisure consumption is not only a necessary means of improving people's living quality and promoting their self growth,but also a key element to accelerate economical developments and realize social progress.This paper begins with the origin and essence of leisure,then,expatiates the meaning of leisure consumption as well as its pregnant conditions and characteristic,along with the history and current situation in China,furthermore,reveals its important significance of constructing the harmonious society.Meantime,it recapitulates some general factors which have influences on the individual requirement of the residents′leisure consumption, and conducts an empirical study on the effect of leisure consumption in the domestic residents initially,and theoretically probes into the internal mechanism about the alteration of the requirement of residents′leisure consumption from the point of view of consumers′behavior, Aiming at some problems which block the present developments of leisure consumption in China,such as the dated leisure consumption,the limited residents′income,the insufficiency of the enterprise product exploitation,the lack of the government system,the paper brings forward a series of relevant suggestions and countermeasures,such as reinforcing guide on leisure consumption,energetically developing economy to increase the residents′income city and countryside,and meantime reducing their income gap,continuously pushing on the renovation of leisure products,bettering its supply structure, strengthening the macroscopic management of government, perfecting the support system of the social conditions and so on.
