| The report of the 20 th Party Congress points out that we should "promote coordinated regional development, thoroughly implement the strategy of coordinated regional development, major regional strategies, the strategy of main functional areas and the strategy of new-type urbanisation, optimise the layout of major productive forces, and build a regional economic layout and territorial spatial system with complementary advantages and high-quality development".The newly convened 14 th National Committee of the National People’s Congress(NPC)proposed to carry out and implement the decision and deployment of the Party Central Committee, turn the grand blueprint drawn by the 20 th Party Congress into a construction plan, firmly grasp the primary task of high-quality development, implement the new development concept completely, accurately and comprehensively, accelerate the construction of a new development pattern, and strive to promote high-quality development. Therefore, this thesis conducts research on the transformation and development of resource-based cities based on the exploration of the elements of resourcebased city development and the simulation of the optimisation of territorial spatial layout.Tongling City has a long history and is known as the "copper capital".As one of the national copper industrial bases, the continuous exploitation of resources in recent years has led to increasing depletion of resources and the disadvantages of a resource-based city have gradually emerged.Inadequate development, the need to transform the industrial structure, the pressure on environmental protection, the lack of high quality clustering capacity and the weak coordination between the north and south of the river are the main constraints for Tongling to enter a new stage of development. Therefore, this study takes Tongling City,Anhui Province,as the object of research. We analyse the land use changes and the factors influencing the transformational development of Tongling City from 2005 to 2020 using statistical data and other data;then,we make a multi-scenario prediction of the scale structure of Tongling City’s land space from 2021 to 2035 by constructing an SD model;on the basis of the scale structure prediction,we make a simulation of Tongling City’s land Finally, based on the factor analysis, scale prediction and spatial layout simulation,an optimisation plan for the transformation and development of Tongling City is proposed.Chapter specifics are as follows:Chapter one:Introduction. It mainly describes the background of the study, the purpose and significance of the study,a brief description of the content and methodology of the study, the important ideas and technical lines of the study, and the sources and processing of the data.Chapter two:Progress of research and supporting theories of transformational development of resource cities. On the basis of understanding the progress of research on resource-based cities and territorial space optimisation, the directions in which the theme can be expanded are explored. It also defines the concepts of resource-based city, resourcebased city transformation and territorial spatial pattern, and puts forward relevant theories to provide basic theoretical support for the following.Chapter three:Provides an overview of Tongling City and an analysis of its transformation and development. The current situation is analysed with regard to the historical development of Tongling City.Firstly, the location, administrative scope, climatic conditions, geological features and socio-economic situation of Tongling City are briefly described, then the land use structure and changes in Tongling City are analysed, and an analysis of the advantages, disadvantages, opportunities and challenges of the transformation development of Tongling City in the new era is carried out,as well as the influencing factors of the transformation development of Tongling City are explored.Chapter four:Constructs the SD model for the transformational development of Tongling City.Based on the previous analysis, the corresponding indicators are selected to establish a system dynamics model for the transformation development of Tongling City, and five scenarios are set up to simulate the quantitative structure of land use in resource-based cities based on the development of each subsystem,so as to provide a quantitative constraint basis for the subsequent spatial layout of the national land in the context of the transformation of Tongling City.Chapter five:Optimisation of the spatial layout of land for the transformation development of Tongling City.Based on the simulation of the quantitative structure of land use in the SD model for the transformation development of Tongling City in Chapter 4,the driving factor indicators are selected, the transfer cost matrix is set,the FLUS model is used to construct a multi-contextual model for the spatial evolution of land use in the context of the transformation of a resource-based city, the simulation analysis of land use layout is carried out,and the optimisation of the spatial layout of land in one county and three districts of Tongling City is proposed in accordance with the actual development of Tongling City. The spatial layout of Tongling City will be optimised in accordance with the actual development of Tongling City.Chapter6:Transformation and development of Tongling City.Based on the theoretical analysis, empirical analysis and predictive simulation analysis,a development plan for the transformation of Tongling City is proposed from the perspectives of cultural tourism development, industrial upgrading, ecological protection, humanistic landscape, regional coordination and spatial optimisation,i.e.upgrading cultural tourism to help the rebirth of Tongling City;promoting industrial upgrading to create a smart Tongling City;protecting the ecological environment and optimising humanistic landscape;coordinating regional development and optimising the spatial layout. The city’s spatial layout will be optimised by coordinating regional development.Chapter7:Conclusion and outlook. The full analysis is summarised and the shortcomings of this study and possible directions for future research are presented. |
