Abusive supervision refers to the subordinates’ perception of the hostile verbal or nonverbal behavior that continuously expressed by their supervisior, excluding physical contact.Scholars have conducted extensive research on the origin of abusive supervision, with increasingly fruitful research achievement. However, there are still deficiencies exist:(1)An increasing number of scholars tend to regard abusive supervision as a functionof a trickle down effect of supervisors being abused by their superiors, and study abusive supervision as the outcome variables of the subordinate characteristics, the supervisor characteristics,supervisor-subordinate relationship characteristics and situational variables, while there are very few scholars explore how subordinate behavior evoke abusive supervision from the perspective of supervisor-subordinate interaction at the dual level.(2)Previous studies tend to emphasize the influence of subordinate behavior on abusive supervision, while few studies incorporated the implementer factor and situational factor into the antecedent model from a more balanced perspective.Base on previous relevant studies,we proposes a threedimensional interactive model to explore the separate and joint moderating effects of supervisor bottom-line mentality and team performance on the relationship between knowledge hiding and abusive supervision, and adopt the basic research approach of organization behavior that include experimental scenario studies and questionnaire survey to test the research model, with the purpose of enriching the existing research on the antecedent of abusive supervision.Firstly,by reviewing and combing the previous relevant study,we proposes a theoretical research model.Based on the domestic and foreign literature, this study systematically combs and summarizes the connotation, measurement and research status of relevant variables.Based on the resource conservation theory,we constructs a three-dimensional interactive model, that is,the supervisor bottom-line mentality and team performance play a separate and joint moderating effect on the relationship between knowledge hiding and abusive supervision.Secondly,we carry out two empirical research to test the relevant research hypotheses. In StudyⅠ,by conducting a questionnaire survey,we clooected and analyzed the data of 205 supervisorsubordinate dysds to further test the independent moderating effect of supervisor bottom-line mentality(Hypothesis 2)and team performance(Hypothesis 1)on the relationship between knowledge hiding and abusive supervision and further verified hypothesis 3.The data analysis results support the hypothesis 3 that knowledge hiding, team performance and supervisor bottomline mentality have significant three-dimensional interaction on abusive supervision, that is,the positive relationship between knowledge hiding and supervisor abusive supervision will be strongest when supervisor bottom-line mentality is high and team performance is low.In Study Ⅱ,we conducted a experimental scenario studies to test hypothesis 3,that is,whether the supervisor bottom-line mentality and team performance play a moderating effect on the relationship between between knowledge hiding and abusive supervision. Finally, through the analysis and discussion of this research results, the author comprehensively expounds the theoretical contributions and practical significance of this study, discusses the limitations of this paper, and puts forward improvement suggestions and research prospects.
