| The development of rural industries,especially those with local characteristics,is an important foundation for revitalizing agriculture and establishing beautiful villages.Heilongjiang province is the "granary" of our country,with unique soil conditions and relativel y cool climate,and the government of Heilongjiang has been committed to the construction of local specialty industries for many years.Raspberry is a small berry fruit tree suitable for cultivation in the north with a long processing industry chain and can be used in food,health care,beauty,medicine and other industries.Peasant households are the basic units,the main decision makers and implementers of production,exploring the production behavior is important for analyzing the development of the industry.Therefore,in this study,field research method and questionnaire method were used to investigate the basic situation,management organizational characteristics and cultivation techniques adoption of peasant households in the main growing regions,under the condition that the basic overview of raspberry production in Heilongjiang Province was clarified.The key factors of growers’ main technology adoption behavior were analyzed empirically using Logistic regression analysis.On th e basis,combined with the information obtained from literature review s,the factors influencing the production behavior of raspberry growers in Heilongjiang were comprehensively analyzed,the problems were summarized and corresponding suggestions and opinions were put forward.The results were as follows:(1)On investigation,it was found that the majority of raspberry growers are men,accounting for 79.17%.Raspberry growers were older and most of them had received junior high school education;More peasant households grew raspberry under 10 acres,accounting for66.67%.The proportion of the income from growing raspberry which accounted for the proportion of household income between 30% and 50% was the largest,up to 38.33%;The percentage of raspberry growers joining in cooperatives is low,only 29.17%;Growers had strong willingness and high motivation to participate in technical training;Growers had a wide range of technical information sources,no longer limited to agricultural extension stations.(2)The adoption of cultivation technology was investigated in terms of raspberry variety selection,seedling sources,water and fertilizer management,pest and disease control,weeding,and mechanical operation,etc.Based on the investigation,an empirical analysis was conducted on the factors influencing raspberry peasant households’ major technology adoption using Logistic regression model on the 12 factors of five aspects: peasant households’ own characteristics,organizational factors,market factors,policy factors,production costs.The results showed that sales price and cost input were the main factors influencing technology adoption,followed by planting area,household income and policy of subsidy,which also had some influence on technology adoption behavior.(3)The factors affecting the production behavior of raspberry growers in Heilongjiang Province were analyzed in terms of peasant households’ own factors,organization degree,scientific and technological factors,market factors and policy fac tors.The main problems in raspberry production in Heilongjiang Province were summarized: the lack of rural labor;the low degree of organization of peasant households,the non-standardized cultural technique,the low processing capacity of raspberry industry and narrow marketing channels.(4)According to the problems mentioned above,the suggestions were as following:accelerating the development of rural human resources and making policies to encourage and attract university graduates to building their hometowns;promoting standardized of raspberry planting and cultivation techniques of raspberry by strengthening technical training and publicity;cooperation between enterprises and universities to develop a series of new raspberry products and improve the deep processing capacity of enterpr ises;the state gives certain policy subsidies to strengthen the infrastructure construction and promote the mechanization of raspberry production;developing of sightseeing tourism agriculture using online marketing and broadening sales channels. |
