The vegetable planting industry in Shou Guang is distinctive even in China,it’s developing in a clustered way.4.5 billion kilos of vegetables annual output in Shou Guang,with more than 10 billion yuan annual value.However,in the process of vegetable planting,farmers blindly increase the application of chemical fertilizers and pesticides,with residues of agricultural film,all leads to the quality and safety problems of vegetables,that only restricts the green development of vegetable industry,but also badly hinders the development of rural revitalization.In the No.1 document of the CPC Central Committee in 2022,proposed that "promote the green development of agriculture and rural areas,strengthen the comprehensive treatment of agricultural non-point source pollution,further promote the reduction of agricultural inputs,improve the resource utilization of livestock and poultry manure,promote the scientific use and recycling of agricultural film,and support the comprehensive utilization of straw".Under the background of vigorously promoting the green development of agriculture in China,it is of great practical significance to study the influencing factors of green production operation of vegetable farmers in Shouguang.Based on these,this paper takes the green production operation of vegetable farmers in Shouguang as the research object,obtains first-hand information through field investigation,understands the current situation of green production of vegetables in Shouguang,uses binary logistic model to conduct empirical analysis on the green production operation of 270 vegetable farmers in Shouguang,ultimely finds out the main factors influencing the green production operation of vegetable planting in Shouguang,and combined with the empirical analysis results,put forward policy suggestions aimed to improve the green production operation of vegetable farmers,and promote the green development of vegetable industry in Shouguang.The research conclusions are summarized as follows:(1)Shouguang city vegetable industry is becoming increasingly perfect,Industrialization and scale are gradually improved,But from the perspective of green agricultural development,Shouguang city vegetable farmers green production behavior has the following problems: first,the cultural level of employees is not high,The aging problem is prominent;Second,the insufficient service of cooperatives,Low degree of organization;Third,the state financial subsidies are insufficient,Farmers’ enthusiasm for green production is not high;Fourth,,the uptake rate of water-saving irrigation technology is low;Fifth,the lack of scientific and technological personnel,Insufficient promotion of science and technology;Sixth,the vegetable quality supervision system is not perfect,The green development level of the vegetable industry is relatively lagging behind.(2)Analysis of influencing factors: Based on the theory of farmer behavior and planning behavior theory,The green production behavior of 270 vegetable farmers in Shouguang was analyzed by binary logistic model,The results show that whether family members and friends have party members or village cadres,whether the local government subsidizes the green production behavior,the understanding of vegetable green production technology,whether to understand the impact of excessive chemical fertilizer on the quality of vegetables will have a significant positive impact on the green production behavior of vegetable farmers,The age and household contracted land area will have a significant negative influence on the green production behavior of vegetable growers.(3)Based on the empirical analysis results and the current situation of vegetable industry in Shouguang city,the paper puts forward policy suggestions for improving the enthusiasm of vegetable growers in Shouguang: first,strengthen the government’s knowledge of green production technology and policies to publicize the knowledge of green agriculture;second,strengthen the promotion of green production technology and improve the understanding level of vegetable growers;third,give play to the leading and demonstration role of party members and cadres;fourth,increase the subsidy for green production behavior and guide vegetable growers to implement green production behavior.
